Whitehall Township has joined forces with Project Keep Warm.

The Lehigh Valley Business Group (LVBG) created Project Keep Warm last year in an effort to ensure that local community shelters had enough to provide for the homeless and others who use their services. The group is running its second annual drive to collect blankets and other cold weather wear for local shelters. The drive began Nov. 1 and runs until the end of the year.

A collection box is inside the main lobby of the Whitehall municipal building, located at 3219 MacArthur Road.

Project Keep Warm's goal is to collect at least 500 blankets and other items.
