Nearly 140 children were recipients of a warm coat and cold weather accessories from sponsors at St. Luke's University Health Network. The 21st "Coats for Kids" program pairs physicians, administrators and staff with children and families in need to shop together for children's coats, hats, gloves and scarves.

The volunteer effort benefits clients of the VNA of St. Luke's, St. Luke's Community Health, Salvation Army and Fountain Hill and Donegan Elementary Schools. Transportation for the shoppers was donated in part by Palmieri Transportation Inc. Target locations at Airport Road and Cedar Crest Boulevard, Allentown, provided shopping discounts. Following the outing, the group returned to St. Luke's University Hospital, Bethlehem, for a hot buffet meal.
