Janet E. Kling, 91, of Allentown, died Nov. 27, 2013, surrounded by her loving family in the home of her son, Jan Kling.

She was the wife of the late Robert A. Kling.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Wickert Sies and Vernal Sies.

She worked in the accounting department at Mack Trucks Inc. for 33 years.

She enjoyed volunteering in the gift shop at St. Luke's Hospital for many years; and walking, dancing, writing poetry, playing cards in a club, family parties and celebrations, shopping, traveling and dining out.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Congregational Church, Allentown.

In addition to her son Jan and wife, Judy, of Longmont, Colo., she is survived by a son Jay and wife, Annette, of Lenexa, Kan.; grandchildren David, Jesse, Dylan and Kyle; sisters Nancy S. and husband Henry D. Frey, and Norma Tischendorf; five nieces; and three nephews.
