Lower Saucon Township police arrested William Hartnett of Hayes Street on several driving-related charges around 1:45 a.m. Nov. 17.

According to police, Hartnett's car was observed on Mountain Drive with faulty equipment and observable damage. Hartness did not pull over for police when lights and sirens were used and he continued to drive to his home.

He exited his car and was stopped by officers before entering him home, and police learned the damage to his car was from a hit-and-run accident from which he fled.

Hartnett is charged with DUI, faulty equipment and fleeing and eluding.
