A Laurys Station man was injured when his 2006 Audi struck a utility pole 12:30 a.m. Dec. 5 in the 100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, South Whitehall Township.

Police say Thomas R. Krut was northbound on Cedar Crest Boulevard, just south of Broadway, when his vehicle left the roadway and crashed into the pole.

According to police, the accident also damaged a vehicle parked in the driveway of 111 South Cedar Crest Blvd., when a service box attached to the utility pole fell onto the vehicle.

Krut was transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, for lacerations received during the crash.
