Larry E. David, 77, of Macungie, died Dec. 3, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Fritz) David. They celebrated 54 years of marriage. Born in Minesite, he was the son of the late Luther and Annie (Wetzel) David.

He worked as a technician for Buckeye Pipeline for 39 years and also was an independent electrical contractor for over 50 years.

He honorably served his country in the Navy during the Korean conflict.

He was a life member of the NRA, Macungie Fire Company, and Mystic Chain. He was a member of Community Fish & Game, Kempton Rod & Gun Club, Kutztown Rod & Gun Club, Alburtis Rod & Gun Club, Macungie VFW, and 13 Buck Club in Elk County. He was a 32 Degree Mason and member of Emmaus Lodge #792 F&AM and attended Butter Valley Community Church, Bally.

He is survived by his wife; son, Dean A. and his wife Shannon, of Macungie, and Mark E. and his wife Jayne, of Macungie; daughter, Cheri and her husband David Angstadt, of Boyertown; brother Bruce and his wife Kay, of Spokane, Wash.; grandchildren, Alicia, Kristina, David and McKenzie.
