Just as firefighters from both Salisbury fire stations are finishing a response to a widespread power outage at the Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest and Cedar Crest Professional Park complex, the Lehigh County 911 Center dispatches the crews to a report of "smoke in the structure" at the Salisbury Township Police Department headquarters along South Pike Avenue. Police Sergeant Donald Sabo said a faulty water cooler was the cause of the smoke. The 911 center also dispatched a unit from Lower Milford to respond to the problem.
