Dec. 13

Quilling artist Buffy Albright will host "Home for the Holidays," a holiday boutique, 20 W. Main St., Macungie, 2 to 8 p.m. Also 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 14. A donation at the door will be given to The American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.

Dec. 14

The Borough of Macungie will host Macungie Holiday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. with food and holiday activities throughout the borough with two free holiday trolleys to most venues including farmers market vendors, historical society museum open house and train displays and photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Macungie Institute; holiday craft show, Christmas cookies sale, horse pulled surrey rides at Macungie Memorial Park; gingerbread displays at Kalmbach Memorial Park; free performances of "Nutcracker Highlights" by Coral Nolan's Academy of Dance at Eyer Middle School; pet photos with Santa at Macungie Animal Hospital; special events and activities at local churches, businesses and Macungie Fire Station. The December recital for the Young Musicians of the Allentown Music Club at Country Meadows Retirement Community, 410 Krocks Rd, Allentown, 1:30 pm. The students will play pieces related to the upcoming December holidays. The event is a free concert and new members are welcome. Any child age five to 18 who wishes to showcase his or her musical talents on an instrument and/or voice is encouraged to come. The Emmaus Chorale will host its Christmas concert 3 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church, 3002 N. 2nd St, Emmaus.

Dec. 16

GFWC-PA Woman's Club of Emmaus monthly meeting 7 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Fifth and Chestnut streets, Emmaus. The program will be Dogs of Falker Swamp. It is also guest night.

Dec. 17

GFWC-PA Woman's Club of Macungie will hold a guest night dinner and Christmas carol sing-a-long with Santa. Appetizers 6 p.m. followed by dinner at Macungie Institute, 510 E. Main St., Macungie. Reservations should be made by Dec. 12 by calling 610-395-2603 or 610-398-9845. Bring cookies to share.

Dec. 18

Dec. 19

The Lehigh Valley Chapter 1371 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees will conduct their monthly meeting at St. Peters Lutheran Church community room, 1933 Hanover Ave., Allentown, starting noon with lunch. Following lunch, the annual Christmas party will take place with singing and distribution of gifts. All current and former Federal workers are invited to attend. First timers and those wishing to have lunch are asked to call Ken Zeiner at 610-419-0739 before Dec. 14. There is a cost for lunch.
