Central Catholic students involved in Best Friends Forever, or BFF, Club will attend the Mercy Special Learning Center Christmas play scheduled Dec. 12.

Students who are involved in the BFF Club are assigned a "buddy" who is a student at Mercy Special Learning Center. Central Catholic students frequently visit and spend time with their buddy so both make a new friend in the process.

On Dec. 12, Central students will go to the play to support their friends and enjoy the afternoon with them. Every student involved builds a great relationship with the students there and greatly enjoys the time they spend with their buddy.

Also coming up is the Central Catholic Band and Choir Concert Dec. 15. This concert gives the members of these groups a chance to demonstrate their talents. Beginning 7 p.m. in Masson Auditorium, students will sing and play to celebrate the Christmas season and spread the cheer. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend to show their support for Central's music department led by Aaron Hetrick.

Allentown Central Catholic looks forward to the upcoming holidays. As Christmas draws closer, the school has begun celebrating. There are opportunities for students to go to confession, mass celebrations and reminders for reflection and prayer.
