Shawn R. Muth, 46, of Orefield, died Nov. 27, 2013, in his home.

Born Jan. 23, 1967, in Allentown, he was the son of Kenneth K. and stepson of Linda A. (Smith) Muth of Orefield and Janet E. (Pratt) Funk and stepson of Robert L. Funk of Breinigsville.

He had a keen interest in discovery of artifacts relating to architectural elements.

These interests were expressed and shared with many customers and interested parties at Wood Natural Restorations, Orefield, where he was employed for the last 20 years.

An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of Heaven Hunting Club, Orefield.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by children, Nicholas C. and Holly J., both of Mohnton, Berks County; brothers Sherwood J. and his wife, Lori, of Topton; stepbrothers Michael E. Wieder of Orefield, Jason H. Wieder and his wife, Loni, of Schnecksville; step-sisters Tamara Balliet of Easton and Misty Petersen of Orefield.
