The Laurel Fire Company is sponsoring an Operation Santa Claus Dec. 21.

Cementon and North Coplay parents wishing to have Santa deliver a gift to their child that day should drop off the wrapped gifts at the fire company 4-11 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, or 4 p.m.-midnight Friday, Dec. 20. The gift should be labeled with the child's name and address.

Santa will be riding on a fire truck to deliver gifts to children Dec. 21 and he will make an appearance at the fire company's members-only Kids' Christmas Party beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Members should sign up their children in advance for the party at the fire company bar. The fire company is located on Third Street, Cementon. For more information, call 610-262-2077.

The Cementon Athletic Playground Association invites the public to their next meeting to be held 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, in the rental building.

The organization meets on the third Monday of each month at 7 p.m.

The Cementon Youth Basketball team is hosting a breakfast with Santa 8-11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at the Cementon playground building.

Santa will arrive at 9 a.m. Children can make a holiday ornament, write a letter to St. Nick and give it to him personally.

Included in the ticket price is a photo of each child with Santa.
