Thanksgiving has gone by in a blink, but we, as a school were reminded how blessed we are.

The Lehigh Valley Christian High School drama team will perform a radio version of "It's a Wonderful Life" Dec. 6 and 7. The performance will be at the school, 330 Howertown Road, Catasauqua.

Every year, our school has a competition called "Deck the Halls." Each grade is assigned a section of hallway and on Dec. 12, there is a period to set up all the decorations. A winner is declared not long after and the halls stay decorated until Christmas.

The LVCHS choir will have their Christmas concert Dec.13 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, Catasauqua.

Some of our cross country team members will be running in the Jingle Bell Run at Northampton Community College Dec. 7 to support the arthritis foundation. Registration opens 7:30 a.m.; the run/walk begins 9 a.m. For more information, call 267-519-6050.

LVC's basketball season will open Dec. 9 against High Point at home. That evening we will host the eighth grade students of all the sending schools for their annual pizza night.

Dec. 20 is a very important day to LVCHS. It is homecoming day for the alumni of our school. We will honor the graduated classes at the basketball game after school.

Spirit week begins Dec. 16. This week we dress up according to each day's theme such as superhero, twin day and pajama day.
