False reports

A young man reporting he was robbed in the early morning hours of Nov. 19 was arrested when it became obvious to police he was just lazy.

According to police, 21-year-old Jonathan Neill of Pen Argyl summoned officers to Schoenersville Road around 2:30 a.m. and spun a yarn which police said was full of inconsistencies.

Neill eventually admitted he fabricated the robbery because he wanted the police to ferry him to his hotel so he wouldn't have to walk.

Neill is charged with several counts of false reports.
