Fight reported

A brawl involving eight people Nov, 21, brought Coplay police to South Second Street, off Coplay Street.

Borough police were assisted by officers from Whitehall, Northampton and the Catasauqua police departments, police said.

The individuals involved have been identified, police said.

Police are investigating the incident to determine if any persons involved in the incident will face charges, police said.

Odor reported

Borough police and the fire department responded Nov. 21 to a report of an odd odor at Seventh and Chestnut streets.

Work on gas lines and pipes had been done in the area during the week, police said.

Borough fire personnel handled the situation accordingly, police said.

Home burglarized

A resident of the 100 block of South Third Street reported to police her home was burglarized Nov. 23.

The thief or thieves stole jewelry, police said.
