The Carbon Model Railroad Society will hold a holiday open house at 529 Ore St., Bowmanstown, starting in November. The open house will take place 7 to 9 p.m. Dec. 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2013 and Jan. 2, 2014; 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 7 and 8, 14 and 15, 2013 and Jan. 4 and 5, 2014.

The open house will include train displays. New and pre-owned trains and accessories will be available for purchase. Admission is free, donations are welcome.
