Happy Thanksgiving!

The Allen Township and East Allen Township municipal offices will be closed Nov. 28 and 29 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, will hold a Girl Scout Santa Shop 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8.

The snack bar will also be open.

The Gov. Wolf Historical Society will hold its 33rd annual Christmas house tour 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. A patrons' tour will be held Friday evening, Dec. 6.

Some of the six homes featured this year have never been on the tour before. All the homes, as well as the Siegfried Log Cabin in Bath, will be decorated for the holidays by local florists.

The society's campus, 6600 Jacksonville Road, will be open with crafts, demonstrations and refreshments.
