Holly Jolly Funfest at Horizon Church, 2613 W. South Street, Allentown. All children kindergarten through fifth grade are invited 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a day of crafts, games, singing, a movie and lunch. There is no charge to attend. Allentown AARP Chapter #5415 will meet noon at St. Timothy's Church, 140 S. Ott St. Allentown. A membership recognition holiday lunch for members only will be held noon to 1 p.m. At 1 p.m., open to the public, the speaker will be Allentown Mayor Edward Pawlowski, who will update AARP members on news of what is happening in Allentown. Everyone is welcome to this program. Bring a non-perishable food item for the Allentown Food Bank. For additional information, call 610-437-4265.
