Gary D. Dunning, 94, of Bethlehem, died Nov. 12, 2013, in Saint Luke's Hospice. He was the husband of the late Marie (Van Doren) Dunning.

Born in Long Pond, he was a son of the late Stanley and Carrie (Everret) Dunning.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having attained the rank of first sergeant.

He retired as a manager for Mary McIntosh after 33 years of service in Easton, Allentown, Miami and Reading.

He was a member of Easton Lodge 152 F&AM. He was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

He is survived by a daughter, Sherrill M. Rawlings and Al Bonnici of Bethlehem and their extended families; two granddaughters, Lisa wife of the late Steven Smith, and Melissa Rawlings and her daughter Emma; and a brother, Stanley Dunning in Texas.

He was predeceased by a sister, Elda Dunning; and a son-in-law, Russell B. Rawlings.
