Northampton Community College, Main Campus, 3835 Green Pond Road, Bethlehem Township, will commemorate the life and legacy of President John F. Kennedy and his death 50 years ago Nov. 22, 1963.
A presentation, "John F. Kennedy: Our Peace President," featuring the video, "The Untold History of the United States: JFK on the Brink," sponsored by the NCC Forum on Peace, Justice and Conflict Resolution, will be presented at 11 a.m. Nov. 21, Room 169, College Center.
A "50th-Year Remembrance (to the minute) of the Assassination of President Kennedy," featuring videos of the actual live news coverage from the afternoon as it happened, including the episode of a popular TV family comedy that was interrupted with the first news bulletins, will be presented 1 - 3:30 p.m. Nov. 22, Laub Lounge, second floor, College Center.
The events are free and open to the public.
