St. Andrew's Young at Heart will be meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, a week early because of the Thanksgiving holiday. After a meeting and dessert, bingo will be played. Members are asked to bring items for the Catasauqua Area Community Food Bank. This is the time of year to be thankful and to share with people in need.

The casino trip to Mohegan Sun is Friday, Nov. 29 and a trip to Sight & Sound is set for Dec. 11. Call Bill Molchany at 610-264-0920 for information.

Anyone interested in bowling for fun on Thursday mornings at the Catasauqua American Legion should also let him know.

Residents, organizations or businesses are invited to sponsor a lighted holiday snowflake ornament to be displayed along North Catasauqua streets during the holiday season. A limited number of ornaments is available, at a sponsorship cost of $250 each.

Anyone interested in information about this betterment committee program should pick up a form at the borough hall.

A plastic plaque can be attached to the snowflake with the name of the donor or signifying that the ornament is sponsored in someone's honor or memory.
