Pauline M. Royer

Pauline M. Royer, 93, of Laurys Station, died Oct. 10, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem.

Born in Howersville, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Mayme (Jacoby) Mertz.

She was the wife of the late Thomas S. Royer Jr., who died in 1996.

A homemaker all her life, she was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Laurys Station.

She was a member of the quilting group at church and a member of the North Whitehall Ambulance Corps Auxiliary and a past Sunday School teacher at St. John's.

Her survivors include sons Stanley H. and wife Doris of Treichlers, Robert A. and companion Patty of Counce, Tenn. and Ronald L. and wife Norma of St. James City, Fla.; daughters Ninette V. Sipos of Whitehall, Phyllis J., wife of Lloyd Hummel of Slatington, Constance H., wife of Roger Kehm, of North Fort Myers, Fla. and Judith D., wife of George Passaro, of Laurys Station; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren, and dear friends Mark and Judy Hills.

She was predeceased by son, Donald T., a sister, Kathryn Hall, and three grandchildren.

Her memorial service at 11 a.m. Nov. 14, with a calling hour 10-11 a.m. at St. John's UCC, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station.
