Louise Stefany Rissmiller, 57, of Martins Creek, died peacefully Nov. 8, 2013, at home.

She was the wife of Patrick M. Rissmiller for 17 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Betty L. (Stefany) MacAdam of Hokendauqua, and the late Carl D. Snyder, who died in 2005, and the late Ranald R. MacAdam who died in 2006.

A lifetime and active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Coplay, she was a 39-year member and current secretary of Rose Croix Chapter 235 Order of the Eastern Star, North Catasauqua.

A 1974 graduate of Whitehall High School, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kutztown University.

She was a computer programmer for Cigna at the Easton output distribution center.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by stepchildren Shanna Porter and her husband, Ethan, of Spokane, Wash., Christopher Rissmiller and his wife, Michelle, and their daughter Liliana of Philadelphia; sister Karen J. Snyder of Allentown; brother Brian T. Snyder of Orefield; and half-sister Chris Snyder of California.
