Helen M. Ellison, 86, formerly of Allentown and Kempton, died Nov. 6, 2013, at Arden Courts, Wescosville.

She was the widow of Kenneth C. Ellison, who died in July 2007.

Born in Lynn Township, she was a daughter of the late Francis J. and Martha (Kunkel) Smith.

A 1945 graduate of Slatington High School, she last worked for the Bon-Ton Inc., Allentown, before retiring in 1989.

Prior to that, she was a self-employed beautician, working out of her former Kempton home.

She last attended Jacob's Church, Jacksonville, Lynn Township.

Her survivors include sons, Dennis C. of Allentown and David K. and his wife, Linda, of Kempton; grandchildren Peter and John Ellison and a sister, Annie Wetzel of New Tripoli.

She was predeceased by 14 siblings.
