Starting in the next two weeks, Oct. 28 to Nov. 11, a six to eight week reconstruction of the intersection of Jacksonville and Bridle Path Roads will begin. The reconstruction will include sight distances, road widening and turning lanes. The work will require detours (permanent and temporary), flagmen and other temporary inconveniences during the process. Every effort will be made to keep one lane moving along Jacksonville Road at all times. The project is required of the developer building the age restricted commuity along Bridle Path Road.

Northbound traffic on Jacksonville Road will be detoured at Schoenersville and, if a motorist bypasses that detour, they will detoured at Westgate Drive when the road is totally closed. Southbound traffic at Jacksonville Road will be detoured at Macada Road.

Every effort is being made to minimize traffic on local neighborhood streets via advance warning signs on Jacksonville, Schoenersville and Center St.

Additionally, in the next five to 10 days, single traffic lane restrictions, assisted by flagmen, will occur at the intersection of Jacksonville and Schoenersville for utility work.
