Colonial Regional Police said a number of residents in the Hanoverville and Stoke Park/Jacksonville roads area reported thefts from automobiles November 6 and 7.

Police said all the break-ins occured over night, but did not specify the number of vehicles entered. Purses, spare change and other valuables were reported stolen.

Police said in every instance the cars were left unlocked by the owners.
