According to unofficial Lehigh County Voter Registration results, the following candidates were chosen for a 4-year term for Lower Macungie Township Commissioner: Republican/Democrat Ron Beitler with 4,002 votes or 32 percent, Republican/ Democrat Brian Higgins with 3,878 votes or 31 percent and Republican Ryan T. Conrad with 3,073 votes or 24 percent.
