Roma M. Leibensperger, 94, a resident of Cedarbrook, South Whitehall, formerly of Germansville, died Oct. 31, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
She was the wife of the late Elmer E.D. Leiben-sperger.
Born Aug. 11, 1919, in Heidelberg Township, she was the daughter of the late Oscar F. and Pauline M. (Billig) Miller.
She was a cook and food service worker at the Bake Oven Inn, the former Germansville Hotel and the former Steigerwalt's Restaurant for a combined total of 25 years before retiring in 1982.
She also assisted her late husband in the operation of their farm in Heidelberg Township where she sold local produce. A member of the United Church of Christ congregation of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township, she volunteered her time as a cook at the Goodwill Fire Co. No. 1, Germansville, for many years.
Her survivors include a son, Larry E. of Germansville; daughter Scherlene A. Yearicks and her husband, Donald, of Germansville; grandson Kevin L. Vernarr and his wife, Camille L., of Germansville; great-granddaughter Elliana Lynn Vernarr.
