Lower Saucon Township police made a number of drunken driving-related arrests, some involveing accidents, recently.

Around 6 p.m. Sept. 27 on Route 378, Jake Henriksen, of East Morton Street in Bethlehem, drove through a traffic light and rear-ended another car, which also hit the car in front of it. Police determined Henriksen was intoxicated and he is charged with DUI.

Around 5:25 p.m. Oct. 2 at Leithsville Road and Herbert Avenue, a witness reported a woman driving recklessly. Police observed the vehicle of 55-year-old Pamela Lockhoff, of Foley Avenue in Hellertown, has been steered over a curb and into a parked car. Lockhofff allegedly walked away and was found passed out on her home lawn.

Around 12:15 a.m. Oct. 7 at Old Philadelphia Pike and Seidersville Road, police pulled over a motorcyclist for driving with a DUI-related suspension. William G. Hartnell, 26, of Seneca Street in Fountain Hill, was determined to be intoxicated and has numerous similar offenses in his record. He is charged with DUI, being a habitual offender, driving while suspended and operating a motorcycle without a license.
