SALISBURY HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE

Salisbury High School Theatre opens the 2013-2014 season with the musical murder mystery comedy "Curtains" 7:30 p.m. Nov. 8 and 9 and 2 p.m. Nov. 10.

The play is directed by Will Windsor Erwin who said this show has been one of the most challenging to direct.

"Because it contains a 'show within a show,' we were able to play with two genres of theatre. The show itself is an old-fashioned murder mystery which takes place in a theatre in Boston. The show the theater is producing is an old western musical which is a take on the tale of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. We've had to create scenery that bounces backstage to front, two different costume plots and have had the chance to play with two different styles of music," Erwin said.

Assistant DirectorChoreographer is Peter Sikalias and Music Director is Nina Elias.

CJ Matz is the scenic designer and Chris West is the lighting designer.
