Lower Macungie Township Historical Society meeting 7 p.m. at the Macungie Institute, 510 E. Main St., Macungie. The meeting will include Patrick Donmoyer, who will discuss the Pennsyvlania-German powwow tradition. The event is co-sponsored by the Macungie Historical Society.

Blood drive in front of Walmart, 1091 Millcreek Road, Allentown, 9 a.m. to noon sponsored by St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Trexlertown. A free Subway six inch sub will be provided to all donors.

Annual observance of Veterans Day 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Lower Macungie Community Center, 3450 Brookside Road. The event is co-sponsored by the Lower Macungie Township Historical Society and the Macungie Historical Society.

Nov. 14

Last day to order a wreath to be placed on a veteran's grave as part of Operation CHRISTmas Wreath sponsored by St. Paul's United Church of Christ, St. Paul's Lutheran Church and St. Paul's Cemetery Association. The goal is to place a wreath on graves of all 300 veterans. To order a wreath, call Dennis Hein at 610-398-2962 or the church office at 610-395-4571. The wreaths will be placed Nov. 30.

Cyber safety night for parents, 6 to 8 p.m. Northwestern Lehigh High School auditorium, 6493 Route 309, New Tripoli. Pa. Office of the Attorney General Special Agent Janene M. Holter will teach parents how to keep children safe online by discussing cyber and personal safety, online predators and cyberbullyng. Not al content is appropriate for younger audience members.
