The Eleventh Annual Spirit of Volunteerism Awards will be held from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Nov. 14 at blue event center. The event, coordinated by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, honors local businesses and employee volunteers who have demonstrated excellence in community service by giving generously of their time and talents to make life better for others and for the community in which we live.

Dave Laubach of Embassy Bank is the honorary chairperson. Spirit of Volunteerism Awards will be presented to Jennifer Haydt, Enterprise Holdings Inc.; Merchants Bank; Olympus Corporation of the Americas; Kristi Rogers, Wells Fargo; Sands Casino Resort Bethlehem; Thermo Fisher Scientific and Wacker Chemical Corporation.
