Hanover Township Council

Five candidates are running for three open seats on the Hanover Township Council. Two of them responded to the question, "Why should voters choose you?"

Frank Dreisbach

I believe the township should be run with no back-door deals or secrets of any kind. Streaming meetings will get more people involved and will promote transparency and accuracy.

Don't take the word of others. See for yourself by voting in November.

Randall Atkinson

I have been involved with Hanover Township government for 40 years, starting with the Government Study Commission that resulted in adopting our Home Rule Charter. The backbone of our charter defines the needs and requirements to provide honest, open, ethical and efficient government for our residents.

Over the last few years some activities have crept into our township government which I believe to be covert and unethical. I am committed, along with a majority of current council members, to correct those issues through revised legislation and additional policies to make our government even more transparent to all our residents.

Also on the ballot for Hanover Township Council are H. Curtis Wegfahrt, Joseph R. (Bob) Heimbecker Jr. and incumbent Bruce Paulus.
