The Bethlehem Area Public Library is hosting three safety programs for drivers age 55 and older at the 11 W. Church St. location. The two-part standard class will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 4 and 5. A four-hour refresher course for those who have taken the standard class will be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Nov. 7. Registrants must bring proof they completed the standard course in the past three years.

There is a cost. AARP members recieve a discount. There are no tests.Upon completion of both sessions, participants are eligible for a discount on their auto insurance. Registration is required; call 610 866-3714.
