Heavy rain did not dampen the spirits of Emmaus Halloween Parade participants and watchers Oct. 19.
Kristi's Cosmo Queens won the title of Best in Show with the entry titled Surrender the Booty.
The Best in Show category is sponsored by the Emmaus Arts Commission and the winner's trophy is donated by Crown Trophy, of Emmaus.
The Seagreaves/Joyce families won the Mayor's Cup Award for the entry titled Witches Brewery.
Cub Scout Pack 5 took top honors in the marching group category, followed by Girl Scout Troop 6530 and the group Glo Worm and Glitterbugs, respectively.
In the marching group with a float category, the Sharon Plessl School of Dance placed first followed by Cub Pack 80, Seven Generations Charter School, LV Martial Arts, Faidley and Friends and AKA Wingnut, in second through sixth place respectively.
The mini float category winners were Bob Swaim, who placed first and Kevin Urban who placed second.
Top honors in the small floats category went to Kristi's Cosmo Queen, Boy Scout Cub Pack 25, Norman and his toys, East Penn Youth Cheerleading, St. Ann School and Salem Bible Church.
