Bethlehem Area School District has received the DVGBC Green Schools Campaign's Branch Green School District Award for 2013. The ceremony was held Oct. 17.

Liberty-Freedom: Faculty event Oct. 30

The Race for Adam Recke flag football game will be held at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 in the BASD Stadium. The Freedom faculty vs. Liberty faculty event is a fundraiser to support the Race for Adam Foundation and awareness of Niemann-Pick Type C disease. Adam Recke, for whom the foundation is named, is a FHS student. East Hill MS: Spirit Week arrives

East Hills MS will close out Spirit Week with three theme days. The dress up events are Charging Ahead with Kindness:students and staff will receive a Charger face sticker to help them "Charge ahead with Kindness" on Oct. 23; East Hills Rules: Students and staff will sport maroon and white that EHMS has declared are the colors of kindness on Oct. 24; and Here's a treat because "You're So Sweet": students will receive a small candy treat to celebrate their acts of kindness. The campaign is to promote kind acts towards one another, a sense of community and respect for each other's differences.
