The Catasauqua Area School Board approved a number of positions for the 2013-14 academic year during the board's Oct. 7 meeting.

Approved as substitute noncertified instructional aides were Terri-Jean Walck, Janice A. Bauer, Terri Ertle and Laurie Nebbia.

Suzanne Borovies, Lindsey Graybill, Kaitline Kline and Kimberly M. Mascasevich were approved as day-to-day substitute teachers.

Sabah Morcos was approved as a substitute cafeteria worker and Sandra Superka as substitute secretary, substitute cafeteria worker and substitute non-certified instructional aide.

Also approved by the board were Erica Schlamp as assistant girls basketball coach at a stipend of $3,520, Marie Hallquist as middle school student forum co-advisor at $739, Lois Morrissey as middle school yearbook advisor at $487, James Schaffer as high school A-V advisor at $1,642, Scott Bateman as high school technical stage manager at $2,000 and Dawn Fisher as high school Green Team advisor with a stipend of $500.

The next school board meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 7.
