The seventh National Take Back Day drug collection event has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Catasauqua and Whitehall Township residents can take expired and unused prescription and over-the-counter medications to the Catasauqua Police Department, 118 Bridge St. and Whitehall Township Police Department, 3731 Lehigh St.
The Lehigh Township Fire Company also will host a drug take back the same day and time at the fire station on Route 248 in Cherryville.
Residents can dispose of capsules and pills, including pet medications and liquids. Syringes or Sharps will not be accepted.
Residents who dispose of medications will remain anonymous.
