Leonard T. Anicola Sr., 85, of Kutztown, formerly of El Segunda, Calif., and Las Vegas, Nev., died Oct. 18, 2013, in Kutztown Manor.

He and his wife Betty Mae (Hartman) Anicola were married 36 years in September.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Anthony and Antoinette (Francone) Anicola.

He worked in the park maintenance department of the city of El Segunda for 12 years before retiring in 1990.

He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Leonard T. Jr. of Bethlehem; daughter, Rosemarie, wife of Michael Davis, Rockford, Ill; stepdaughter Patricia E. Williams of Northampton; stepsons David W. and wife Joanne Price and Dennis P. and wife Debra Reppert, all of Kutztown; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister Mae Davoli of Bethlehem; and mother-in-law Ellen F. Reppert of Kutztown.
