Erna S. Trinkle, 91, a longtime resident of Fullerton, Whitehall Township, and guest at Whitehall Manor, died Oct. 19, 2013, in Sacred Heart Hospital.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Rudolph and Julianna (Muik) Trinkle.
She was the executive assistant to the vice president of finance at Air Products and Chemicals, Trexlertown, for 27 years before retiring in 1983.
A faithful and dedicated member most of her life of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall, she enjoyed her membership with the Golden Agers, always attending their meetings and special functions, going on bus trips, and travelling regularly to the casinos.
Earlier in life, she was a member of the former Women of Saint Elizabeth and the Secretaries Association of the Lehigh Valley.
Her survivors include godsons Jeffrey Berger and his wife Monica, and their children Meredith and Kevin of Schnecksville, and Gregory Berger and his wife Susan, and their children Matthew and Emily of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
She was predeceased by her beloved sister Amelia "Millie" Trinkle, with whom she resided all of her life, brother Robert Joseph, who died in the Pacific Ocean during World War II, and an infant sister who died at birth.
