The week of Oct. 7 was Spiritual Life Week. The Axis team from Colorado came in and spoke to us over a period of three days. They challenged us to think outside of what is normally accepted such as what we listen to and how we act.
During the same week, our annual field day and talent show took place. The beat box duo of Joshua Brennan and Robert Gaudreau came in first place in the talent show.

The cross country team has done extremely well this year.
At the Northampton Invitational Oct. 5, they competed very well against 20 other local high schools. Ninth-grader Austin Wiegand came in second place with a time of 19:18 and Stephen Holden came in sixth with a time of 20:03. Rachel Loar also medaled, coming in fifth place, and Rachel Prusak finished in seventh. The boys team qualified to go to district competition and a few of the girls qualified to run singly. Congratulations!
