The Macungie Minstrelaires are bringing selections of old-time country music, including a jug band, in their latest production of "Country Jamboree" for six shows 8 p.m. Oct. 25, 2 and 8 p.m. Oct. 26, 8 p.m. Nov. 1 and 2 and 8 p.m. Nov. 2 at Lower Macungie Middle School. The performance will include a portion of the Grand Old Opry, a comedy section taken from Hee Haw and then brings country music to the present, finishing with a patriotic theme. A portion of the proceeds from the show will benefit Keystone Wounded Warriors. ABOVE: Telling jokes during the dress rehearsal are Sandy Schantz and Bill Konek.
