On Oct. 16, fire crews from Eastern and Western Salisbury Fire Departments respond to a possible explosive situation of a gas odor at 1004 Salisbury Road. UGI was requested to the scene and firefighters shut the gas off. It took about 25 minutes to ventilate the house. The leak was caused by a burner on the stove left on without being ignited.
