The Whitehall High School Baseball Team Booster Club will host Oktoberfest 6-11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Commitment to Family and Community on Cherry Street, Coplay.

Those 21 and older will enjoy dinner, drinks and deejay entertainment with hits from the 1980s. There is a cost.

Proceeds from the event will help defray costs to allow the baseball team to travel to Myrtle Beach in March and cover other expenses that arise throughout the season.

Be sure to turn on your porch light and outside lights if you wish to welcome children to your home for a Halloween treat.

Drivers, always be cautious when traveling throughout the neighborhood, but especially on trick-or-treat night.

Remember, every Friday and Saturday in October from 7 to 11 p.m. the Whitehall Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor its annual Haunted Woods at the Whitehall Parkway.
