Ruth M. Kressley, 68, of Germansville, died on Oct. 14, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Inpatient Hospice Unit.
She and her husband Gerald M. Kressley were married 46 years last May.
Born in Kutztown, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Beatrice (Kamp) Miller.
She was a cook for the former Zimmerman's Country Homestead, now Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli for 20 years.
Prior to that, she worked for the former Saucony Shoe factory for 16 years.
A member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, she was in charge of the memorial fund for many years and served as a deacon.
Her survivors include a son, Carl G. and wife, Hayley, of Fleetwood; brothers Harvey and wife Bernice of Virginville, Russell and wife Doris of Kempton, Dallas and wife Judy of West Lawn, Dennis and wife Nancy of Kutztown; sisters Esther Kerr of Virginville, Sandra Leibensberger of Kempton; grandchildren Caitlyn and Abigail; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister Fay.
Her memorial service will be 11 a.m. Oct. 18, at Keller Funeral Homes Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Raymond J. Hand officiating.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Interment will follow at Weisenberg Lutheran Church Cemetery.
