The Catasauqua Area Showcase Community Theatre Company will be staging the musical "Annie Warbucks" this spring.

"This wonderfully entertaining musical finds Annie in another tough jam," says director Bill Nothstein. "Even though Miss Hannigan, Rooster, and Lilly are behind bars, Annie will face some new and even more devious villains on her road to becoming Annie Warbucks.

In order to fill the roles of the new characters, some of the familiar ones, and a large supporting cast, CAST will be holding an informative production meeting on Monday Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria of the Sheckler Elementary School.

That meeting will be followed by auditions on Sunday Nov. 10.

The local community theatre group is looking for interested adults and children to attend. All are welcome, however, there is a special need for males of all ages and males and females in the 15-30 age bracket.

Family participation is encouraged.
