Giant Food Stores and Martin's Food Markets, in partnership with the Drug Enforcement Administration and local law enforcement agencies, will participate in the national "drug take-back" initiative from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26.

Expired and unwanted medications may be brought to a participating Giant or Martin's locations to be disposed of in an environmentally-friendly manner at no cost to the customer. Personal information (for example, names and addresses) should be crossed out or removed. No sharps or syringes will be accepted. The following local Giant stores are participating: 3015 W.
