Frank Joseph Catricola, 79, of Allentown, died Oct. 11, 2013, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

He was the husband of Hada E. (Acevedo) Catricola.

Born March 27, 1934, in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Francis J. and Marie (Rebbert) Catricola.

He was a self-employed locksmith in New York City for 33 years before retiring.

He served in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children the Rev. Matthew J. Catricola and wife Sabrah, and Grace E. Catricola, all at home; Robert Escalona and wife Maureen of Flemington, N.J.; sister Joan Viggiano of Teaneck, N.J.; and five granddaughters.
