Oct. 19 is Breast Cancer Awareness Day. A registered mammographer will be at Bath Drug 9-11 a.m. to answer any questions you may have.

The service is provided by Lehigh Valley Hospital Breast Health Services.

The event will include a raffle to win a gift basket.

The Bath Area Food Bank will sponsor a spaghetti dinner and basket social fundraiser 4-7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, at Christ United Church of Christ, 109 S. Chestnut St., Bath.

This is the fourth year the event will take place.

An offering will be taken instead of a set price for the meal.

Several items will be raffled off during the evening.

Once again, Moore Elementary School will be participating in the Bottom Dollar Foods Classroom Connections program.

If you have a Bottom Dollar Foods card, you can register it at www.bottomdollarfoodconnections.com.

Last year, 17 cards were registered and the school received more than 2,500 points toward the purchase of equipment.

Your participation greatly helps the students.
