Barbara A. Bold, 76, of Schnecks-ville, died Oct. 15, 2013, in Allentown.

She and her husband Robert E. Bold celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary on Dec. 16, 2012.

Born June 15, 1937, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late James G. and Mary E. (Gruver) Boyle.

A 1955 graduate of Allentown High School, she was a secretary and bookkeeper for the former George Yundt Architects until her marriage.

She was a homemaker who took great pride in her family.

A member of Dubbs Memorial United Church of Christ, Allentown, she served as church treasurer for 14 years and was active in many facets of her church.

She was a volunteer at the former Allentown Osteopathic Hospital for many years.

She was a strong supporter of her family's activities. To know her was to love her and be loved by her.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Judith A., wife of Andrew Doyle, of Slatington; son Michael R. and his companion, Stacy L. Gray, of Bethlehem; granddaughters Katelyn, wife of John Knapp, Andrea Doyle and Julia Bold.

She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Catherine Yandle; several nieces and nephews.

Her memorial service will be 3 p.m. Oct. 20, at Dubbs Memorial UCC, 457 Allen St., Allentown, with the Rev. Carl E. Siegfried officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday in Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville.
