May M. Abeloff, 82, of Macungie, died Oct. 11, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of Frederic Abeloff. They would have been married 61 years Oct. 12. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Evelyn (Cadden) Moss.

She was a graduate of Cedar Crest College, Allentown, and was a certified nursing assistant working in the health care field.

She had been a member of Congregation Keneseth Israel, Allentown.

She loved to volunteer, especially at the Temple and the Parkland Library.

She is survived by her husband; son, Victor G., of Breinigsville; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Dr. Simon Moss.

Contributions may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, 212 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, 18018 or to a charity of one's choice.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Oct. 16 at Keneseth Israel Cemetery, South Whitehall Township. Arrangements were made by the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown.
